Community Day

Date: 05/08/2026 - 26/08/2026

Community Day

Thanks to funding from Farnham Town Council as part of their free school holidays activities grant, we're thrilled to announce two incredible Community Days at the Museum on Wednesday 5 August 2026 and Wednesday 26 August 2026!

Both days will be packed with fun, games, and historical exploration, plus fun train rides from Old Kiln Light Railway.

And, to make it even easier for you to join in, we're offering a free shuttle bus service from Waverley hoppa bus service! One bus will be running back and forth from Hale Community Centre and the museum, with the first bus leaving at 9:30am. Another bus will be running back and forth from The Chantry's Community Centre, also starting at 9:30am. The last buses will be leaving the museum on both days at 16:15pm.

Plus, on August 5th, we're delighted to welcome back the talented Sparkleface Facepainting to the museum for even more face painting fun!

And on August 26th, we're so excited to host Aesops Touring Theatre Company at the museum for two fantastic performances. Catch 'The Hare and the Tortoise' at 11am, perfect for younger audiences, and 'Timeline', a brief history of England, at 2pm, ideal for older children!

Don't miss out on these incredible opportunities to create summer holiday memories with your loved ones.
