Community Day

Join us for a day of fun activities such as arts and crafts, face painting and have a go on the Old Kiln Light Railway. Plenty of fun for everyone! *Please note all activities are subject to volunteer avaliablity.
Community Days at the Rural Life Living Museum are a project kindly funded by Farnham Town Council and the Farnham Institute Charity.
Thanks to the generous funding we can provide a limited number of FREE family vouchers valid for Wednesday 27 August 2025 which covers museum entrance and family activities as part of our partnership with Homelink Workers in our community.
In addition, we have teamed up with Hoppa Community Bus who will operate for this day only (27/08/2025), from Hale Community Centre, Farnham Station, and the museum.
The first bus will leave Hale Community Centre at 9:30am and the last bus will leave the museum at 16:15pm on this day, Wednesday 27 August 2025.

To access one of the limited free vouchers, please speak to Hale Community Centre directly or to your Homelink Worker. Everyone is welcome to this event, please purchase your tickets via our General Admission page for this date, equally you're able to buy tickets on the door.
