Did you know, the Rural Life Centre is an Independent museum run by the Old Kiln Museum Trust, as a registered Charity we do not receive any funding for the operational costs of the museum but are wholly reliant on visitor admission fees to meet the day to day running costs of the museum.

Each year we inspire over 20,000 visitors including 2,000 school children to learn about the rural past. Understanding how rural life has shaped our past and how it will shape our future has never been more important.

We need your support to help educate and inspire people of all ages to understand the rural way of life and to preserve many of the dying skills and crafts. Please donate today

Alternatively, you can generate free funds through Give as you Live a fundraising platform for charities. Every time you shop online or in certain stores, they will donate a small percentage to the Old Kiln Museum Trust.

Long term friends of the museum have supported the museum by gifting to us in their Wills. Legacies are very much appreciated and help to ensure ongoing support to the museum.

We would like to thank the following organisations for their support
